Clipboard & file transfer
In the portal, under My remote connections, your sessions open full screen. Here is how to copy and paste text and exchange files with the server.

Clipboard (copy and paste)
Copy text on your PC (Ctrl+C), then in the session click the clipboard icon of the toolbar (at the top): the text is transferred into the remote session, where you can paste it (Ctrl+V).

Upload a file (your PC to the server)
Windows: click ⬆️ Upload a file, or drag and drop the file onto the session. It shows up in This PC › Shared.
Linux: click ⬆️ for an SFTP upload.
⬇️
Download a file (the server to your PC)
Windows: on the server, drop the file into This PC › Shared › Download: it downloads to your PC automatically.
Linux: click ⬇️ File browser, browse, then click a file to download it.

Good to know
- Ctrl+Alt+Del: a dedicated button in the toolbar (Windows sessions).
- Disconnect: on Linux it closes the session; on Windows it signs you out (the session stays active).
- Large transfers go through an optimised channel: keep the window open until the end.
