Getting started with the Loksi app
The Loksi app gives access to your company's password vault on iPhone and Android, and in your browser with the extension. Four steps for the first use.
Ask for the name of your vault
Your Loksi account is created by your company's administrator. They give you the name of your vault, chosen when ordering, for example my-company for the vault https://my-company.loksi.fr. The app cannot guess it: each company has its own vault.
Enter it in the app
When Loksi opens, tap "Log in", then the line "Logging in on: address to enter". In "Name or address of your vault", type only the name, for example my-company, or the full address if your company has its own domain. Confirm: the line then shows the address of your vault.
Log in
Enter your work email address and tap "Continue". Depending on your company's choice, you enter your master password or you use your company sign-in. Only you know your master password: neither Aleop nor the server can recover it.
Turn on AutoFill
On iPhone: Settings, General, AutoFill & Passwords, then turn on Loksi under "AutoFill From". On Android: in the settings, search for "Autofill service" and choose Loksi. Your logins are then suggested in apps and websites.
In your browser
The Loksi extension exists for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Once it is installed, pin its icon in the browser toolbar to keep it at hand.
Before you log in, look at the line "Accessing" at the bottom of the screen. It must show the address of your vault. If not, click on it and enter the name of your vault, or its full address, as in the app. Then log in the same way.
On a website, click in the login field: Loksi suggests your logins. The shortcutCtrl+Shift+L fills in the last login used for the site. To avoid two suggestions each time, make Loksi the default password manager, inSettings, Autofill.
