Get alerts in Teams or Slack

Klepsi can post its order alerts to a channel. All you need is an incoming webhook URL, pasted into the notification settings.

1

What Klepsi sends

When an order or a project envelope crosses the threshold set in Settings, Notifications tab, Order alert at (%) field, Klepsi warns the administrators by email. It posts the same alert to the Teams or Slack webhook URL, then a second time at 100 %.

The message is a single line of text, sent as JSON. To Slack, Klepsi posts a plain {"text"}. To a Teams Workflows URL, it wraps the same line in an adaptive card, which is the format the Teams template expects:

POST <webhook URL>
Content-Type: application/json

Slack:  {"text": "…"}
Teams:  {"type": "message", "attachments": [{"contentType":
         "application/vnd.microsoft.card.adaptive", "content": {…}}]}

In Slack

On api.slack.com/apps, create an app From scratchnamed Klepsi, in your workspace. Open Incoming Webhooks, turn them on, thenAdd New Webhook to Workspace and pick the channel.

Copy the URL you get, which starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/…. Slack accepts Klepsi's format as it is.

In Microsoft Teams

The old Office 365 connectors in Teams have been retired. The webhook is now created with Workflows(Power Automate).

Klepsi works with the ready-made template Post to a channel when a webhook request is received. There is nothing to build by hand.

1

Add the workflow to the channel

In Teams, hover over the channel that should receive the alerts, open the … menu, then Workflows. Pick the template Post to a channel when a webhook request is received, give it a name (Klepsi for example) and confirm the connection.

2

Copy the URL

Check the team and the channel, then Add workflow. Teams shows the webhook URL, on logic.azure.com or powerplatform.com. Copy it.

The labels above come from Microsoft's documentation. They sometimes change between versions of Teams.

This format needs a Klepsi instance updated after October 1, 2026. On an older version the template posts nothing: ask your administrator for the update.

Paste the URL and check

In Klepsi, paste the URL in Settings, Notifications tab,Teams or Slack webhook field, and save. Also check that the alert threshold is not 0, which means never.

Klepsi has no test button for the webhook. To check the channel without waiting for a real alert, send the same format from a workstation. For Slack:

curl -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"text": "Klepsi alerts test"}' \
  'https://…your webhook URL…'

For Teams, with the card:

curl -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"type": "message", "attachments": [{"contentType": "application/vnd.microsoft.card.adaptive",
  "content": {"type": "AdaptiveCard", "version": "1.4",
  "body": [{"type": "TextBlock", "text": "Klepsi alerts test", "wrap": true}]}}]}' \
  'https://…your webhook URL…'

Treat this URL like a password: anyone who knows it can write in the channel.
